Dubai Creek Marina Presents ​​The Pre-Race Dragon Boat Exhibition is set to launch on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club opposite Deira City Center, Dubai, UAE

Open for the public, the event will host competitive and corporate teams competing in the 100/250-meter race with the much anticipated Tug of War event , as well as the 8th Annual Pre-Owned Boat Show and great restaurants. More people are expected to attend the annual event.

The dragon boat itself is a water sport that combines physical activity, entertainment and multi-cultural interaction in which each boat will have 12 to 22 paddlers, which include one drummer and one steers person.

Our Purpose and Mission​

​The Purpose of the St George “Dragon Slayers” is to be a Fitness organization for people interested experiencing the sport of Dragon Boat. And to increase awareness of dragon boating as a recreational activity and promote the sport’s tradition in the Middle Eastern culture.

​We promote awareness of cancer and other similar diseases, while providing survivors and persons of determination with the rehabilitation, camaraderie, and recreational exercise of dragon boat paddling. Lastly, to be a role model and be responsible caretakers of Natural Resources. Contribute through recycling campaigns and environmental clean-up drives.
